the term abbottonians, refer to those people, who have studied or currently studying in abbottabad public school, abbottabad. in short APS.

it was founded in 1957. at that time it was known as railway school.the land was given by SARDAR BAHADUR KHAN, who was the brother of FIELD MARSHAL AYUB KHAN,THE EX PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN.

it a boys school having classes 7th to 12th.

it is situated at an altitude of 4500 feet.

the campus is situated on the karakuram highway.
